Have you seen blood in your pee, even once?
Posted: 1 April 2016
If you have seen blood in your pee even once, then you need to tell your doctor. It might not be anything serious, but there is a chance that it could be a sign of bladder or kidney cancer. This is an EasyRead version of another leaflet about bladder and kidney cancer. You may like to have someone to support you when you look at this leaflet.

Electronic Prescription Service
Posted: 17 March 2016
Beaufort Road Surgery is now using the Electronic Prescribing Service. If you already have your prescriptions sent directly to your preferred Chemist we will continue to do this, albeit electronically. You do not have to do anything for this to continue. If you do not wish us to use the electronic system for sending your prescriptions to your Chemist please let Reception know.
If you would like to nominate a chemist please contact Reception or download and complete the form on the Dispensary Page and send it to us. Joining the scheme will save you coming into the practice to collect your prescription. Instead it is sent directly to the chemist you wish to use, and you can pick up the medication from there when it is ready. Please see the patient information leaflet below, or click on the NEW PAGES below:
Our Response to CQC Inspection
Posted: 14 January 2016
The Surgery was inspected by CQC on 24 June 2015
As a team we are very disappointed with the overall rating of ‘Requires Improvement’ for the Services provided at Beaufort Road.
Specifically our results were:-
- Are services safe? Requires improvement
- Are services effective? Required improvement
- Are services caring? Good
- Are services responsive to the people’s needs? Good
- Are services well-led? Requires improvement
We are disappointed because we consider that the clinical care of our patients is very good and this is reflected in our Quality Results which show achievement at 98.8%.
